Seaford Neighbourhood Plan

What it's for

Residents have watched with dismay as inappropriate developments have been wished on the town. The two local Councils have recently refused two such, only to have them allowed by a Central Government inspector on appeal by the developer. Another scheme, this time by Lewes District Council, was defeated before the planning stage was reached.

A Neighbourhood Plan lays out formally the way in which Residents want the town to develop. By statute, all Councils and Government inspectors have to pay regard to it when considering plans.

Who organises it?

The Town Council and volunteer residents, with help from professional organisations.

How do I see what's on it?

Better than that, you can ensure it says what you want it to. Visit the Council website for full details of how to put your views across and help shape the future of YOUR town!

SRV charges no membership fee. A donation of just £1 would help with expenses and publicity. Please will you help?
